After their first studio album, "Cartalavonu," Planet Opal released "46AB081222 / Do We Know Time?" on Friday, May 19th, through Dischi Sotterranei: a two-track EP where the relationship between the A-side and B-side is more explicit than ever.

"46AB081222" is the more chaotic and extreme side of the EP, with a Moog bassline winding around a voice sample reciting words and numbers from iPhone notes, notes written one day and never revisited.

On the other hand, "Do We Know Time?" poses an existential question while you're playing the final level of a video game with your senses clouded by ketamine. The BPM slows down, and the bassline remains ambiguous, moving irregularly within the square space of the song's sonic ecosystem. The voice sample brings you back to reality before plunging you once again into the wet sheets of your bed at 9 in the morning after returning from the club.

These two tracks enrich the club-oriented part of the duo's catalog, joining the ranks of songs from their first album, such as "Additional Information" or "Ci Siamo Chiusi Fuori."
