‘’Cartalavonu’’ is the first studio album by the Italian electronic music duo Planet Opal.
The album was written in the summer of 2018 on the mountains over Porto Vecchio in Corsica, in a small village named Cartalavonu. With a small studio equipment fitted in a utility car, the duo traveled on a ferry from Savona to Bastia and spent 21 days in solitary confinement writing new music in the woods.

The creative process behind the record starts with the drums. Experimenting for the first time multitrack recording techniques, Giorgio and Leonardo layer multiple drumsets playing at unison to fashion a heavy feeling on rhythm, while rich and solid synths blend with their organic shapes into the grooves.

lyrics

Now, time is sly, gives no signs.
Now, time is sly, gives no signs.
Now, time is sly, gives no signs.
Now, time is sly, gives no signs.
Now, time is sly, gives no signs.
Now, time is sly, gives no signs.
Now, time is sly, gives no signs.
